The Girl

Dark, cold, alone...
The girl sits in the dark
Her emotions are as sharp as those of a shark
Cutting deep, never stopping
She tries wordlessly to cope with the emotions
Always having her fake smile on, fooling others
Even though deep inside she's dying
The more things that she finds out, the more she is dragged into the darkest of shadows
The voices of people she knows and loves ring and taunt in her head
They shout endless insults...
She yells, cries, and begs for them to stop
For them to just go away, let her sink peacefully into the shadows of her despair.
They're winning, she's loosing it.
Nothing can stop them...
Saying these three words, "I give up."
She closes her eyes as the unbearable feeling of uselessness stabs through her broken heart.
Instantly shattering it
Her blood seeps into the ground
All that was left of her, is now gone...
